Ordering & Subscriptions
How do I place a one-off order?
Browse the menu at foober.com.au/meals, add meals to your cart, choose a delivery day, and check out. You do not need a subscription for one-off orders. Minimum order is $80. Delivery is included on most orders.
How does the Foober subscription work?
A subscription delivers meals weekly on your chosen day. You pick the meals, the delivery day, and the quantity. You can edit your next box up until the cutoff (Saturday 11:59pm Sydney time for Tuesday delivery, Sunday 11:59pm for Wednesday delivery, etc.). You can skip up to 4 consecutive weeks without losing your spot.
How many times can I skip my subscription?
You can skip up to 4 consecutive weeks. After that, the subscription is automatically paused. Skipped weeks do not count toward subscriber rewards or tenure milestones.
How do I pause or cancel?
Log in, open Subscription, and choose Skip Week, Pause Subscription, or Cancel. There is no lock-in contract. Cancellation takes effect immediately for any deliveries that have not yet hit the cutoff.
Delivery & Packaging
Where does Foober deliver?
Foober delivers across the Greater Sydney metro, parts of the Central Coast, Wollongong, the Blue Mountains, and selected NSW regional postcodes. Enter your postcode at checkout to confirm. We do not currently deliver outside NSW.
When will my meals arrive?
Meals are delivered fresh — never frozen — on your selected delivery day. Most orders arrive between 8am and 6pm. You receive an SMS tracking link on the morning of delivery.
How long do meals stay fresh?
Meals are chef-prepared fresh and chilled (not frozen). Refrigerate immediately at 4°C or below. Most meals carry a 5-7 day shelf life from delivery, with the exact use-by date printed on each label.
How do I reheat the meals?
Microwave: cover loosely, heat on high for 2-3 minutes (stir halfway). Oven: 180°C for 12-15 minutes. Always check the centre is above 75°C before eating.
Nutrition & Ingredients
What are the macros?
Most Foober meals deliver 35-55g of protein per serve, 350-550 calories, and lower carbs (typically 20-45g) than supermarket ready meals. Every meal page lists the exact calories, protein, carbs, fats, and dietary tags. There is zero added sugar across the entire menu.
Are meals high-protein and low-carb?
Yes. Foober is built around a high-protein, lower-carb, no-added-sugar standard. For stricter low-carb, filter by the Keto or Low Carb category.
Do you cater for allergens?
Every meal lists its allergens. You can filter the menu to hide meals containing what you cannot eat. Important: all Foober meals are produced in a kitchen that handles common allergens — cross-contamination is possible. If you have a severe allergy, please contact info@foober.com.au before ordering.
Are meals gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or keto?
A portion of the menu fits each dietary pattern. Browse the gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, keto, or low-carb category for filtered lists. Allergens are flagged on every meal even when a meal is not labelled with a dietary tag.
NDIS, Home Care & Payments
Can I use NDIS funding for Foober?
Yes. Foober is a registered NDIS meal delivery provider. NDIS participants whose plans include Core Supports for Assistance with Daily Life can use that funding. See the NDIS Meal Delivery page for the 70/30 split, plan-managed vs self-managed invoicing, and ordering on behalf of participants.
How do payments and refunds work?
Payment is taken at checkout via Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Subscriptions are billed automatically on the cutoff day for each weekly delivery. Refunds are issued for missing, spoiled, or incorrect meals — contact info@foober.com.au with your order number within 48 hours of delivery.
Can someone else order on my behalf?
Yes. Carers, support coordinators, and family members can place orders for someone else using the standard checkout. For NDIS-funded orders, complete the NDIS section at checkout with the participant and provider details so we can issue a compliant invoice.
